Claude skill

A skill that teaches Claude to publish with Flatpage well.

The Flatpage skill tells Claude how to publish: update the existing site instead of making a new one, keep pages self-contained, pick a good link name, and handle big files and errors. It uses the MCP connector when it's there and the REST API with FLATPAGE_API_KEY otherwise.

Install

Download flatpage.zip and upload it under Settings → Capabilities → Skills. Add the connector too so Claude can publish without a key.

Save it to your skills folder:

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/flatpage
curl -o ~/.claude/skills/flatpage/SKILL.md https://flatpage.app/skills/flatpage/SKILL.md

Then either add the MCP server or set an API key:

export FLATPAGE_API_KEY=fpk_...

Try it

  • "Make a one-page menu for my café and publish it as cafe-menu."
  • "Publish the dist folder to Flatpage."
  • "Update cafe-menu with the new prices." (same link)
  • "How many views did cafe-menu get this week?"
